PILGRIMS' WAY STAGE 9 - OXTED TO WESTERHAM HILL Repeat of walk on 25 August.

TUES 4 SEPTEMBER 10.00am
Meet at Dry Hill car park (free) GR TQ497552 off A25 Westerham Road, lane next to garden centre. A lovely 10 mile walk to Ide Hill for coffee and sandwich lunch at community shop (toilets) or at picnic area before returning to Dry Hill. NO DOGS.

SAT 8 SEPTEMBER 10.25am
PILGRIMS' WAY STAGE 10 - WESTERHAM HILL TO OTFORD
Meet at Bromley South 246 Bus Stop to catch 10.31 bus to Westerham Hill - Pilgrims Way Bus Stop (arrives 11.05). Walk Westerham Hill to Otford Station. 7.7 miles with 230m ascents. Picnic lunch at Chevening Church (4.3 miles). Optional visits to Solar System Model, Heritage Centre and Charity Tea Shop in Otford. Single rail from Otford to Bromley South.

PENGE WEST TO BIRKBECK
Meet at Penge West Station for a 6.5mile linear walk to Birkbeck. Picnic lunch in South Norwood Country Park.

HAMMERSMITH CIRCULAR
Meet at Hammersmith Tube Station for a 6.5 mile walk along the Thames Path to Barnes Bridge for lunch, and return to Hammersmith. Plenty of trains via District or Piccadilly lines.

JUBILEE COUNTRY PARK - ITS HISTORY & HERITAGE
Meet at Tent Peg Lane car park, off Crest View Drive, Petts Wood, BR5 1BY. Discover the hidden history of Local Nature Reserve Jubilee Country Park. From Bishop's hunting ground to farmland, golf course to World War II Heavy Anti-Aircraft Gun Site, hear fascinating, often humorous, tales of past times. This walk, led by local historian Jennie Randall of the Friends of Jubilee Country Park, is part of London Open House Weekend. ASSISTANCE DOGS ONLY PLEASE.

Meet at Chancery Lane Tube Station in ticket hall for a very gentle city walk of about 2 hours.
