Each walk will be limited to the number of walkers specified below by its leader. Members will need to book a place by contacting the walk’s leader several hours in advance

Meet at the Rose & Crown, Green Street Green BR6 6BT to walk up Snag Lane and into High Elms country park with a 30 minute stop at the BEECHE café. Up to St Giles Church then back to the start via Old Hill. A 4.5 to 5 mile circular walk, quite hilly, it will be taken at a moderate pace. Some parking in front of the playground in Cudham Lane. Bus R11 to end of route and the 358 to the Metrobus depot, the R5 & R10 may possibly work.

Meet at: Crystal Palace Parade by the Crystal Palace terminus bus stop just south of the TV mast for a 7.5 mile linear walk with no stiles or big hills. Picnic lunch in Beckenham Place Park where refreshments should be available. Recommended travel: bus 227 to Crystal Palace, with frequent buses and a journey time of about 30 minutes from Bromley North.

Meet outside Crown pub in School Road Chislehurst near the war memorial for a 5 mile circular walk around Petts Wood. Not too hilly and hopefully we will see some early spring flowers. Buses 162, 61 and 161 stop nearby.

Meet at 10.30am at Farnborough Village Sign for a circular walk of approximately 6 miles. Opportunity to picnic in High Elms towards end of walk or if desired to finish walk at starting point with possibility of a pub drink! No dogs.

Meet at bus stop HH Queen Mary’s Hospital/A20, for a linear walk of approximately 5.5 miles through Scadbury Park and the various woods, finishing at Chislehurst Station. Bus routes 160, 229, 269, 286, B14 and R11.

Meet in the ticket hall at Blackheath Station for a circular walk of approximately 5 miles taking in some of the quieter and interesting roads around Blackheath and Greenwich, finishing with a stroll around the flower garden in Greenwich Park after lunch. There will be a lunch/toilet stop in Greenwich Park. There are some steep hills. Please note that use of the toilets in Greenwich Park costs 20p payable only by contactless credit/debit card, and purchases made at the café also have to be paid for by contactless credit/debit card - they no longer take cash in the toilets or café.

Meet at Bromley South Station where we will take the 320 bus to Leaves Green for a 6.5 mile walk with lunch at Downe. Drop out point at Downe for bus back to Bromley South. Car drivers can park in the Ashbourne car park and we will pass the car park on the walk.

Meet outside the front entrance of Bromley South Railway Station for a fairly lengthy 3 hour linear walk. With some diversions and from my own perspective and fascination, you will be told a little about the history, the railway infrastructure, and be shown some historical pictures of three of the railway stations that have travelled by rail to Bromley Town. There will be opportunities to leave the walk if required. Maps will be provided for information. The walk will end at Shortlands Railway Station.

Meet at Selsdon Wood Nature Reserve car park, 125 Old Farleigh Road, Selsdon. CR2 8Q for a 5.25 mile circular walk taking in Kings Wood, Mossyhill Shaw, Baker Boy Lane and Selsdon Wood. Some paths may be muddy with a few stiles. Approximate finish 12:15 – 12:30. Own drinks stop.

Picnic lunch at Ightham Mote where refreshments should be available. Some climbing, but nothing steep apart from one set of steepish steps.

A steady climb to Downe and one short gnarly descent before Cudham. Some parking in front of the playground in Cudham Lane. Bus R11 to end of route, 358 to the Metrobus depot, R5 & R10 may also work.

Meet at Bromley South station at 10:00 for a walk of 6 miles. We'll catch the 358 bus to Farnborough with lunch at Keston (picnic, or pub if open). Back by 14:30. Maximum 8 people (bus has a limit) but I can take 10 walkers if we travel on successive buses.

Meet at St. Mary’s Church courtyard on south side of Putney Bridge (this is the Putney national rail station side but is a short walk across the bridge from the Putney Bridge District Line underground station). A 7.5 mile walk with picnic lunch at Chiswick House and gardens where refreshments should be available.

Meet on the corner of Pickhurst Lane and Hambro Avenue Husseywell Crescent,Hayes (nearest sat nav: BR2 7LS) by the top gate into Husseywell Park for a circular walk of about 5 miles over commons and through woodland. If we are lucky the ice cream van at Keston Ponds might be there! This walk is in memory of Ann Yeulett whose walk it was.
